Primary Grant Focus

To foster a more coherent and effective approach to Common Core State Standards (CCSS)-aligned mathematics and ELA/literacy instruction among secondary teachers, Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Education Service Agency (CF RESA) offers a combination of face-to-face training, on-site support, and online collaboration.  Through a virtual collaboration platform, CF RESA is providing resources, lesson exemplars, student work, and teacher testimonials to move teachers in their region from a surface-level understanding of the CCSS to a deeper understanding of the instructional shifts. By offering these additional, web-based supports CF RESA promotes increased and ongoing contact with secondary teachers in rural districts in Georgia.
